Hands-on Lab Days from Avnet Memec and Echelon target the Internet of Things for Smart Buildings

Poing, Germany, May 2014 – Avnet Memec, an Avnet Inc. (NYSE:AVT) company, and Echelon have released the dates for the latest hands-on Lab.  The free one-day events will be dedicated to the Internet of Things and will introduce IzoTTM from Echelon.

The workshops, supported by Echelon, will take place:

During the hands-on Lab Days participants will learn how to connect LonTalk, LonTalk IP, BACnet IP and Any IP devices in a multichannel environment, prototype their application on a Raspberry Pi with Python, productise with Echelon’s new FT6000 silicon and modules as well as getting familiar with Echelon’s new IzoT platform.
