Photogallery Villa Arconati
In Bollate, near Milano, the 17th century Villa Arconati consists of three fundamental elements: garden, villa and village. Known as the "Little Versailles”, in the past, the decorative apparatus, frescoes, sculptures, furnishings and the vast collections of paintings, books and ancient manuscripts, among which the Atlantic Code of Leonardo da Vinci, made this residence one of the most important. Its huge garden, with the 18th century wintergardens, the fountains, the natural theatres, the hornbeam galleries and the great variety of tree species is worthwhile a special visit.
